Eye care
New vision care concept store offers a range of eye examinations and services for customers of all ages.
Videre is collaborating with Johnson & Johnson Vision to launch its new vision care concept store at Forum the Shopping Mall. It offers a comprehensive range of eye examinations and services for customers spanning all stages of life, from four to 16 years of age to those over 45.
The package for those over 45 includes presbyopia management, cataract detection, glaucoma screening, diabetic retinopathy screening and age-related macular degeneration screening. In a 2017 study, it showed that 68 percent of the respondents with visually significant cataract were not aware of their condition. Videre hopes to change this and get Singaporeans to see better and live better.
The package for those over 45 costs S$120 (before GST) and covers a number of clinical tests for the conditions including autorefraction, non-contact tonometry, digital slit lamp exam, and non-dilated fundus photography.
