Cleaning the floor with steam
Karcher’s latest steam mop is able to penetrate and deep-clean virtually all surfaces.
Karcher has launched its new SC 3 Upright EasyFix steam mop, which uses the power of hot steam that is heated to nearly 100-degrees Celsius to penetrate and deep-clean virtually all surfaces, including tiles, wood and carpet without the need for any chemicals or cleaning agents.
According to the company, steam-cleaning the floor is significantly better in removing dirt, grease and grime at home as compared to conventional mopping. Not only is fresh water used throughout the cleaning process, it can eliminate 99.99 percent of all common household bacteria at the same time. It also helps to save water as the steam mop effectively uses about 80 percent less water compared to moping using a pail of water.
When switched on, the SC 3 Upright EasyFix is ready for use after just 30 seconds. In addition, the removable fresh water tank can be topped up at any time, which allows for uninterrupted cleaning. The SC 3 Upright also has a three-stage volume control using the selection button on the handle, a microfibre cloth that helps get stubborn dirt off scratch-sensitive stone floors, a flexible hinge that maximises the floor nozzle’s contact with the floor, and an anti-limescale cartridge that removes limescale from the water.
The SC 3 Upright is available at all major electronics and electric appliance stores in Singapore from October 21, 2019 at a recommended retail price of S$398.
