Collection of LKY100 commemorative coin
Successful applicants assigned to DBS/POSB branches can book their collection slot via the bank’s online appointment portal.
Successful applicants of the S$10 commemorative coin for the 100th birth anniversary of Lee Kuan Yew (LKY100) assigned to DBS/POSB branches can now start to reserve their collection slot via the bank’s dedicated LKY100 coin collection appointment portal. To do so, they must have received a confirmation SMS from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), and use the details indicated in the SMS to reserve a collection slot at their assigned DBS/POSB branch within their allocated two-week collection period.
Successful applicants will need to make a payment of S$10 per coin when collecting the coin(s) at the DBS bank counters. Payment can be made via e-payment (PayLah! or Paynow), direct deduction from their DBS/POSB account for those who hold an account with DBS, or in cash.
Successful applicants are also reminded of the following:
- Adhere to their allocated collection period and reservation slot at their designated DBS/POSB branch.
- Show their NRIC/birth certificate and the SMS notification sent by MAS in order to proceed with the coin collection.
- For those who are collecting the coins on someone else’s behalf, they will need to provide a copy of the NRIC/birth certificate of the original applicant, and a screenshot of the SMS notifications sent by MAS.
Those who prefer to do a walk-in collection at their designated branch should check if there are available walk-in collection slots for the day using the bank’s LKY100 coin collection branch availability heatmap. Collection hours for each branch are also indicated on the heatmap. As there are limited walk-in collection slots per day, successful applicants are strongly encouraged to use the online reservation portal to reserve a collection slot instead of doing a walk-in collection.
