G-Shock comes up with a watch designed by a local artist.

 

G-Shock Singapore has launched this year’s National Day watch designed by local artist Toby (a.k.a. Tobyato). In terms of the design, the watch is based on the AW-500BB-4EDR revival of first analog G-SHOCK AW-500. On the band of the red colour watch, there is a white lion Toby designed, and his logo. This watch also comes with a specially designed box with the lion design.

Based on the AW-500BB-4EDR, the watch features shock-resistant construction, and is water resistant to 200m. It is equipped with an electro-luminescent afterglow backlight and sports timekeeping functionality such as dual time, daily alarm, full auto-calendar (to year 2099), 12/24-hour format and stopwatch. It also boasts a battery life of seven years.

In addition, from August 1, 2021, there will be a special installation at G-Shock MBS Premium of this watch at the store to show this collaboration and about Tobyato.

 

This National Day watch is available at all G-SHOCK stores and is priced at S$219.
