Pick up a script!
The Necessary Stage’s Theatre For Seniors is conducting a script-centred workshop in February.
The Necessary Stage’s Theatre For Seniors is conducting a script-centred workshop, mostly conducted in English, which will focus on a script from renowned playwright and director, Kuo Pao Kun. Participants will explore and read “Mama Looking For A Cat”, which focuses on the breakdown in communication and estranged relationship between a Hokkien-speaking mother and her bilingual-speaking children, who can only express their thoughts in English and Mandarin.
