Portraits of 10 centenarians
The Centre for Ageing Research and Education (CARE) celebrates longevity in a photographic online exhibition.
The Centre for Ageing Research and Education (CARE) is celebrating longevity in a photographic online exhibition called SG100: A Celebration of Our Centenarian Photographic Exhibition. The exhibition was first launched alongside an international conference on centenarian studies that CARE organised back in 2016. A number of the centenarians have since passed on but the Centre thought it would be worthwhile to continue celebrating their lives, so it has brought the exhibition online.
It shared: “There is much to learn about living and longevity from our foremost elders!”
The exhibition features larger-than-life portraits of 10 centenarians in Singapore, and includes quips about their lives. CARE added: “We wanted to capture what made life worth living for these centenarians.”
