Abbott’s new improved Ensure Life with HMB has more Vitamin D and protein.

Abbott has a new and improved Ensure Life nutritional supplement, which is specially formulated with HMB (beta-hydroxy beta-methylbutyrate) and has more Vitamin D and protein to help in muscle tissue building and growth.

HMB is a metabolite of essential amino acid leucine and is naturally found in small amounts in some foods and in your body. When one ages, levels may decline. HMB has been shown to support muscle health.

Ensure Life has a total of 34 nutrients including calcium and contains Omega-3, 6 and 9, with no cholesterol, trans-fat, lactose and gluten. It also contains prebiotics to promote the growth of beneficial bacteria and help maintain a healthy digestive system.

It is recommended to consume two servings of Ensure Life per day as a supplement to a well-balanced diet. It is available in both powder formulation and travel packs. It comes in four flavours including Vanilla and Wheat with less sugar, and Chocolate and Strawberry.
