Devising theatre workshop

by | May 31, 2017

Want to write, direct and act in your own theatre piece? Well there’s a workshop by The Necessary Stage just for you to do so.

Have you wondered what ‘devising theatre’ is? Would you like to learn how to write, direct and act in your own piece? If so, there is a 10-session devising workshop led by experienced and seasoned theatre practitioner Serena Ho.

Connect with like-minded people and make some theatre together. Experience is not needed but sharing is a must! The workshop will be held every Wednesday and Friday evening, from 7.30pm to 10pm in mid-August to September. It will be conducted in English and exclusively to participants who are above the age of 50. The last session will be an open showcase where friends and families will be able to see the fruits of your creative process!

The total course fees will be S$200 and payable by cash or cheque written out to ‘The Necessary Stage Ltd’ on the first session of the workshop. Send the following to Karmen at karmen@necessary.org – full name, age, contact number and a few sentences about yourself and what interests you recently (e.g. current affairs, hobbies, or anything at all). Application closes Friday, June 16, 2017.
