Club Rainbow’s (Singapore) (CRS) beneficiaries worked with seniors on a virtual art gallery. This is part of the 6th edition of the non-profit’s annual event called Dreamseeds Arts Festival, which offers an opportunity for its beneficiaries to realise their creative potential and connect with the community through art. The festival runs virtually from November 27 to December 1, 2021.

In this year’s five-day festival, one of the new elements is the virtual art gallery which features artwork from CRS beneficiaries who worked closely with local artists to create thoughtful artwork inspired by the world around them. The artwork use various mediums such as 3D diorama art-making.

Named the ‘House of Wonders’, it is also a community collaboration between the five beneficiaries and five pairs of seniors from Kampung Admiralty Active Ageing Hub. Beneficiaries exchanged ideas with the seniors over Zoom. They had not met in person but shared what their dream space is like, and learnt from each other through conceptualising ideas.

On the other hand, the seniors shared their hopes for the younger generation and beneficiaries learnt from the seniors. CRS hopes the community collaboration between the young and older spur interaction and participation for both age groups.

Besides the virtual art gallery, the festival will also have concert performances, film screenings and workshops. If you are interested in the events or activities, register online at HERE.
