The National Silver Academy celebrates its anniversary with a two-day roadshow showing the various course offerings.

The National Silver Academy (NSA) will be celebrating its third anniversary on August 2, 2019 at the National Library Events Plaza (Level 1) with the guest-of-honour President Halimah Yacob.

As part of the celebrations, a two-day roadshow will be held from August 2 to 3 from 11am to 8pm. Admission is free. You can meet dozens of participating partners who will offer a wide array of courses designed and subsidised for those aged 50 and above. Most courses are also SkillsFuture Credit eligible.

The NSA roadshow provides seniors the opportunity to discover a wide range of learning opportunities to keep themselves engaged and active in life. Highlights of the roadshow include hands-on activities, stage talks, games and get to win prizes at the Spin-the-Wheel. On the first day of the roadshow, there will be a special live performance by NSA alumni.

NSA, an initiative under the Action Plan for Successful Ageing, is a network of post-secondary education institutions (PSEIs) and community-based organisations offering over 1,000 learning opportunities subsidised for those aged 50 years and above. Seniors can sign up for courses via the NSA website at www.nsa.org.sg. Topics range from health and wellness, IT and science, ageing and life skills, humanities, finance and business, and arts and design.

For more information, visit the NSA website or call the NSA hotline at 6478 5029, Monday to Friday (except public holidays), 9am to 5pm.
