Brand-new series of live talks by NSA on topics relating to active ageing.

Bored at home? Catch the National Silver Academy’s (NSA) e-Nuggets Series, a brand-new series of live talks on topics relating to active ageing conducted as part of its ongoing efforts to promote e-learning. Starting from March 31, 2020, the live talks will take place every Tuesday and Friday (unless it falls on a Public Holiday) at 2pm, on Council For Third Age’s (C3A) Facebook page.

In each 45-minute talk, you can stay engaged and participate in e-learning, with topics ranging from IT, health and wellness, arts and more. You can also share your thoughts and even post questions via the Facebook comments during the Q&A segment.

The first session will be on using Whatsapp. Non-profit RSVP Singapore will share the basics of Whatsapp, basic setup and features such as how to add your contacts, make audio or video calls, and manage data usage through a step-by-step demonstration. On April 3, 2020, Temasek Polytechnic will share a session titled “My Memory: What’s Normal and What’s Not” where you will hear about the risks, signs and symptoms of dementia as well as tips to strengthen cognitive skills.

If you miss the live broadcast, not to worry as you can still catch the talks on C3A’s Facebook page or C3A’s website. To find out the schedule for the rest of the days in April, go to: www.c3a.org.sg/NSA_eNuggets/.
