In this tour, participants are encouraged to share their stories and experiences of celebrating special occasions.

For the month of January, the National Museum of Singapore is organising senior-friendly tours, with the theme on celebrations (New Year)! Participants are encouraged to share their stories and experiences of celebrating special occasions. Both on-site and online (Zoom) options are available, with the on-site tour being held on January 7, 2023 (Saturday) from 10.30am to 11.30am, and the Zoom tour on January 19, 2023 (Thursday) from 10.30am to 11.30am. In this tour, the museum’s care facilitator volunteers will bring participants through the Growing Up and Voices of Singapore galleries on Level 2.

The tours will be conducted mainly in English. For non-English speaking participants, please ensure that there is a care staff or care partner who can assist to provide translations.

For on-site tours: Pre-registration is required. Interested participants can register for this tour via this link, Please note that standard admission charges will apply to all non-Singapore/PRs. Sign-ups will be based on first come, first serve basis.

For Zoom tours: Pre-registration is required. Please reply to this e-mail to register.

The tours are based on a different theme every month so seniors can look forward to joining the tours each month to explore other artefacts and galleries at our museum.
