With the commencement of ferry services connecting Singapore’s Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal with Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal on July 7, 2022, Desaru Coast Destination Resort is launching a series of fun-filled daycation and stay packages that includes the return ferry tickets.

With daycations starting from RM378 (S$118), guests can look forward to Desaru Coast experiences such as golf on the fairways of its world-class courses, resort-style dining at any of the destination’s restaurants and spending the day at its beaches or having a splash at its waterpark. For guests looking beyond an action-packed day trip, the destination will also offer unforgettable staycation packages starting at RM2,379 (S$743), which include hotel stays and an array of Desaru Coast activities. All new packages come with return ferry tickets.

Recognised in 2021 as one of TIME Magazine’s World’s Greatest Places, Desaru Coast is nestled against 17km of pristine beachfront and home to four globally renowned hotels, two world-class golf courses and the region’s largest adventure waterpark. More recently, three of Desaru Coast’s properties were listed in the Top 10 as Best Beach Resorts in Malaysia in Travel + Leisure’s inaugural Asia’s Best Awards 2022.

“To commemorate this highly anticipated ferry service, we have curated some of our best experiences into day packages with return ferry tickets for day-trippers from neighbouring Singapore to come in and spend an unforgettable day at our destination. In 90 minutes, guests can arrive at the doorstep of Desaru Coast to enjoy the activities, beaches, amenities and dining options the destination has to offer. For guests who want to stay a few nights at our five-star resorts, we offer comprehensive stay packages with room nights, Desaru Coast experiences and return ferry tickets,” said Roslina Arbak, managing director and CEO of Desaru Development Holdings One.

Further to the newly introduced day packages, in conjunction with the much easier connectivity to the destination for golfers, the Els Club Desaru Coast announced special three-month promotion for its popular Golf Privilege Pass. Singaporean and international golfers can enjoy 355 days of golf at both Ocean and Valley Courses for RM10,800 (S$3,375) rather than its usual rate of RM13,800 (S$4,313).

Desaru Coast will be further introducing more activity-driven day packages including spa and brunch packages at its four world-class resorts and cycling packages for enthusiasts who want to experience the iconic Desaru routes recently used for the L’Étape by Tour de France and the upcoming Desaru Coast Multi-Sports Festival presented by Ironman.
